Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the muzychenko.dev website collects, why, and how you can control it. The site has no forms, sign-up or user accounts, so it collects as little data as possible.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The site owner and data controller is Ihor Muzychenko, sole proprietor (FOP), Ukraine. For any question about your data, write to info@muzychenko.dev.
Data is processed under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, for visitors from the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data is collected
- Server data. When you visit, the server automatically logs your IP address, date and time of the request, the page address, your browser and device type. This is needed to run and protect the site.
- Analytics data. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager collects aggregated statistics: pages viewed, where you came from, approximate location, button clicks. Without your consent, analytics cookies are not set.
- Data you send yourself. If you write via Telegram, WhatsApp or email, I receive what you share: your name, contact details, business or website name, and a description of your task.
3. Why it is used and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running, protecting and troubleshooting the site | Legitimate interest |
| Visit statistics to improve the site | Your consent |
| Replying to your message, preparing a proposal and contract | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Performing the contract, invoicing and reporting | Contract and legal obligations |
Your data is never sold, never used for mailings you did not ask for, and never shared for ad targeting.
4. Cookies
The site uses two types of cookies:
- Necessary - remember your choice in the cookie banner. No consent is required for them.
- Analytics - Google Analytics. Set only after you consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page or in your browser settings.
5. Who receives your data
- Hosting provider (Ukraine) - stores server logs.
- Google (USA) - processes analytics data with your consent. Transfers outside Ukraine and the EU rely on Google's standard contractual clauses.
- Telegram, WhatsApp (Meta), email provider - if you contact me through them. Their own privacy policies also apply.
- Public authorities - only where required by law.
6. How long data is kept
- Server logs - per the hosting provider's rules, usually up to 30 days.
- Analytics data - 14 months.
- Correspondence - as long as needed for our work together; contract and invoice data - as long as tax law requires.
7. Your rights
You have the right to know what data about you is processed, to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a copy, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, write to info@muzychenko.dev - you will get a reply within 30 days.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, for example when new features are added to the site. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
